ABSD calculator questions

Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty is a duty on top of BSD, charged based on your residency profile and the number of residential properties you already own. It does not apply to non-residential property.
Singapore Citizens: 0% on the first property, 20% on the second, 30% on the third and beyond. Permanent Residents: 5%, 30%, 35%. Foreigners: a flat 60% on any property. Entities: 65%. Rates effective since 27 April 2023.
Singapore Citizen married couples buying a replacement private residential property can apply for ABSD remission if they sell their existing home within 6 months of the new purchase (or 6 months after TOP for uncompleted units). ABSD must still be paid upfront and is refunded after the sale.
No. Unlike BSD, ABSD must be paid entirely in cash — it cannot be paid using CPF Ordinary Account funds.
